Welcome to Girl of 10,000 Lakes – where the journey begins and the adventure never ends! I’m thrilled to have you here as we embark on a mission to explore the Land of 10,000 Lakes and beyond. As an outdoor and travel content creator, author, blogger, and proud wife and mom, I invite you to join me and my sweet little fam (Nick, Harlan, Juniper, & our pup Kiwi) as we embark on many adventures together.
In my former life as a television reporter and anchor, I had the privilege of telling the stories of people from all walks of life. Now, on Girl of 10,000 Lakes, I blend stories, tips, inspirational videos, and photos into one digital platform. My goal is to evoke inspiration and wonder through the beauty of the great outdoors.
While canoeing in the Boundary Waters, ice fishing on Mille Lacs, or enjoying lake life at the cabin are a few of my favorite places to be, my love for the outdoors wasn’t always ingrained in me. It’s something I discovered later in life, and that’s why, no matter your experience level, I encourage you to take more detours, step outside your comfort zone, and try something new outdoors.
